Worship Ministry Opportunities
There are many ways to share your gifts in worship. Whether you sing, serve, or support behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.
Sunday Worship Team
Our Sunday Worship Team creates space for everyone to experience God’s presence through a blended worship style that unites contemporary and traditional elements. The team includes a pianist, an organist (on fourth Sundays), and vocalists who share their gifts in praise. We welcome singers and instrumentalists of all skill levels, as well as those who wish to offer special music or offertory songs to glorify God.
CUMC Choir
The CUMC Choir is our Sanctuary Choir, leading worship once a month—on the third Sunday, from September through June—during the 9:30 AM service. Open to students and adults of all vocal backgrounds and abilities, the choir offers a joyful opportunity to praise God through song and fellowship. Rehearsals are held Wednesdays from 7:00–8:00 PM in the Choir Room, located on the ground level of the Sanctuary Building.
Worship Helpers
Our Worship Helpers serve behind the scenes and at the front doors to make each Sunday a welcoming and meaningful experience. This team includes ushers, greeters, acolytes, communion stewards, and A/V volunteers—all working together to support the flow of worship and create a space where everyone feels at home. We welcome caring hearts and willing hands to join this vital ministry of hospitality and service.
