E.P.I.C.  (Experiencing Possibilities In Christ) Youth Group for 6-12th graders

   E.P.I.C. will meet on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The Sign Up Genius has been sent out to help with the meals. Thank you!

  • Sunday, January 29: Youth are encouraged to help at the Winter Carnival
  • Sunday, February 5: Regular E.P.I.C.
  • Sunday, February 12: “Souper Bowl” and Valentine’s Day Bake Sale
  • Sunday, February 19: Fellowship Night from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 26: Seven Oaks in Boone

   Leaders and second adults are always needed for E.P.I.C! If anyone would like to work with our amazing youth, please let us know!

JUMPSTART your morning! Thursday mornings from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45ish a.m. for High Schoolers (and middle schoolers if you can find a ride). Light breakfast will be served.

As always, invite your friends and especially those that may not have a church home to any of these events!

   We have E.P.I.C. t-shirts for anyone, youth and adults, who would like to support our youth.  They are $10.

Souper Bowl: Our youth are hosting a “Souper Bowl” lunch on Sunday, February 12 beginning at 11:15 a.m. to help raise funds for upcoming activities. The youth will be serving a variety of soups and samples too! Youth families, please watch for the Sign Up Genius.  There will also be a Valentine’s Day Bake Sale that day!

Seven Oaks: We are heading to Seven Oaks for a day of skiing, snowboarding and tubing on Sunday, February 26! If you plan to TUBE, please let Karen know by January 29 in order for the tubes to be reserved. If you plan to ski or snowboard, please let Karen know by February 12. All youth going need our church Family/Student Information Form filled out and anyone planning to participate (youth and adults) need to fill out the Seven Oaks form. We will leave Oskaloosa at 1:15 p.m. and return around 9:30 p.m. Thank you to Rick and Connie Bryan for providing Meal Deal food vouchers. We will also bring along snacks and waters. If you plan to rent a helmet or want other food from the concession stand, bring extra spending money.  You might also bring a change of clothes in case yours are wet and you don’t want to sit in the vehicle on the way home with wet clothes. The cost for youth and chaperones is $15. The youth funds will pay the rest. For anyone else going the cost is $27.
